Arvest Bank Announces Johnson Promotion

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce Misty Johnson, NMLS# 1745770, has been promoted to consumer loan advisor. 

Johnson has held a variety of roles during her three years in the banking industry, most recently serving as a financial sales representative. In her new role as a consumer loan advisor, Johnson will be active in external business development activities, as well as the generation and underwriting of commercial loans.

“Misty has focused on learning consumer lending since she has been in her financial sales representative role and exhibited a desire to excel, as evidenced by several service awards ranging from referrals to loan origination,” Arvest consumer lending sales manager Jack Farley said. “She wears multiple hats within her branch and is very involved in the community. She recently helped organize a very successful Million Meals event in conjunction with local law enforcement that was pivotal in the Clarksville team exceeding its goal.”

Johnson, who also holds an Arkansas insurance license, lives in Lamar with her husband, Bryce, and their two children. An active member of New Life Church Clarksville, she has been involved in numerous civic endeavors, including the Johnson County Community Foundation and the Clarksville – Johnson County Chamber’s Chamber Royals.

Jose Hernandez Recognized as Top 250 Latino Mortgage Lenders in Nation

Arvest Bank is proud to announce that our very own Jose Hernandez, NMLS# 564536, was just recognized by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals as one of the top 250 Latino Mortgage Lenders in the nation! Jose is ranked #48.

He has helped 157 families obtain a mortgage loan in 2018! What an accomplishment! He was up against lenders nationwide in some really big markets. Jose recognizes that he didn’t do this all on his own.

University of the Ozarks Receives Donation from Arvest Foundation

Students and faculty at the University of the Ozarks will benefit from a $5,000 donation from the Arvest Foundation.

The gift was announced recently at the University of the Ozarks. Jason Shook, Whitney Koegniseder, Tammy Burchett, Tony Warren, Ian Bryan, Britney Wilkerson, Kacey Yarborough and Jessy Moreno of Arvest Bank were on hand to present the check.

Thanks to the donation, the school will be able to purchase a large tent to be used for various events on and around campus. 

“We are very thankful to receive this grant from the Arvest Foundation,” said Richard Dunsworth, president of the university. “It will benefit our faculty, staff and students during campus and community events.”

“We are very pleased to present this check to University of the Ozarks on behalf of the Arvest Foundation,” Warren said. “We appreciate the university and what they do for our community, and look forward to our continued partnership in the river valley.”

Arvest Bank Adds Vandiver to Commercial Banking Team

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce it has added Daniel S. Vandiver to its commercial banking team in Farmington.

Vandiver has 10 years of industry experience, working as a commercial loan processor and commercial credit analyst. In his new role as a commercial banker, Vandiver will generate, evaluate and approve commercial loans, among other duties.

“We are excited to add another commercial lender to our Farmington team, and Daniel will be a great addition,” Arvest commercial loan manager Dax Moreton said. “His experience has prepared him for this role and his passion for helping customers make him a natural fit.”

Vandiver earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting at Northeastern State University and serves in the United States Army Reserve. He lives in Fayetteville with his wife and their two sons.
